MAT

Medicated-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of FDA- approved medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders.  These medications relieve the withdrawal symptoms and psychological cravings that cause chemical imbalances in the body. MAT programs provide a safe and controlled level of medication to overcome the use of abused opioids.  Research has shown that when provided at the proper dose, medications used in MAT have no adverse effects on a person’s intelligence, mental capability, physical or job functioning.

For many people who are either addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, addiction can be very challenging.  Without professional health, they may remain addicted, and feel as if there is no way out.  Our program will not only help you find a way out, but will guide you to staying out through medication management and therapy.  Through our MAT program we can help you overcome your cravings and those physical symptoms of withdrawal.  We will also educate you on the effects of the drugs and focus on healing through therapy.
